Regarded as one of the most picturesque courses in Wales, with a magnificent backdrop of the historic grounds of Gwrych Castle. Abergele Golf Club is a firm favourite with both members, the local community and those who choose to visit from all over the local golfing community.
The club has over 460 playing members, an additional 150 social members and thriving men’s, junior, senior and ladies’ sections. Coupled with an extremely busy diary of society and visitor bookings throughout the year, our family friendly clubhouse is a constant hive of activity. We are committed to delivering the best possible experience on the course, and in our bar and restaurant, so therefore are looking for the right person to continue and expand on this vision.
The restaurant has around 120 covers and an outdoor seating area on our balcony, with far reaching views of The Castle and out to sea. There is a fully equipped commercial kitchen.
Our ethos in our restaurant, ‘The View’, is to provide both traditional and modern menus to appeal to all. We are also a popular choice for functions within the local community. The successful candidate will need to share our vision, be committed to provide excellent customer service, and willing to demonstrate a flexible working approach to meet the needs of the Club with our brilliant tea,.
Catering experience is desirable. Although, more importantly, you should possess the initiative and enthusiasm to help drive this already successful business forward.
