This is on top of our membership fees stated above. Men will pay an additional £17.75, ladies will pay £15.75 and the junior (under 18) amount is £4.75. These affiliation fees do not apply to our Newbie Golf Membership.
Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) Scheme
Abergele Golf Club, as a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), is open to all of the community including those on modest or low incomes. The club now offers a 7-day membership with access to the Course inclusive to any member/prospective member whose financial circumstances do not allow them to pay an annual membership subscription and associated costs of more than £500. These individuals are invited to apply to the Secretary and demonstrate that any sum above £500 is not affordable to them and this will then be considered by our Directors. If accepted, an alternative fee structure will be offered to the application. If this applies to you, please contact our Secretary at admin@abergelegolfclub.co.uk.
Acceptable evidence of an applicant’s personal circumstances may be provided in the form of independent documentation (or proof) of certain state benefits they may be receiving and include: Job Seekers Allowance, Universal Credit and Working Tax Credit Housing Benefit. Other forms of documentation providing personal financial difficulty may also be acceptable, but subject to independent verification before receiving approval.
