The Results Are In
We are thrilled to announce the results of the Ladies Am Am Stableford Open, the Ladies 9-Hole Stableford Open, and the Open Junior Medal from Wednesday 23rd August 2023. It was lovely to welcome both junior and lady members to Abergele Golf Club yesterday and we hope to see them all again soon. Thank you to DBM Podiatry for sponsoring our ladies events and to Abergele Town Council for sponsoring our Junior Medal. Now it’s time to display the results!
Junior Medal
It was a great pleasure to welcome a record number of 19 juniors at our annual Junior Medal event. This was the most juniors we had seen in a long time and it was truly heartwarming to see so many young, talented golfers come together to compete in a friendly and inclusive environment. The juniors were from 12 different clubs, including Abergele, Eaton, Holyhead, Mold, North Wales, Northop, Old Colwyn, Oswestry, Radyr, Rhos-On-Sea, Sandiway and Wrexham. We were thrilled to see such a diverse range of participants and we hope to continue to attract more juniors from different clubs in the future. Here are the results from the day:

Ladies Am Am Stableford
It was lovely to welcome 88 ladies to Abergele Golf Club on Wednesday 23rd August. We hope everyone had a great time with us and we hope to see them again soon. Here are the results:

Hole-in-Two’s
The day also saw some impressive shots, with Sue Walmsley, Alison Evans and Alison West having hole-in-two’s. Congratulations everyone!
Ladies 9-Hole Stableford
We recently held a 9-Hole Open Stableford event and were thrilled to have 24 ladies participate. The competition was tough, and the scores were closely contested. However, after all the rounds were completed, we tallied up the scores, and here are the results from the day:
