The Jolly June Jamboree at Abergele Golf Club on June 8th was a fantastic day filled with sunshine and fun. It was great to see both new and familiar faces joining in on the festivities. The event was a huge success thanks to the hard work of our ladies upstairs on the desks and the men in the halfway house, who helped to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Now, on to the results of the tournament. In first place, we had Jean Jones, Val Forshae, Sue Ratcliffe, and Kay Skinner from Padeswood & Buckley Golf Club with an impressive score of 102 points. Coming in second was the team of Jo Adams, Lynne Horsley, Jackie Morgan, and Cath Abbot from Abergele & Conwy Golf Club with a score of 94 points. And in third place were Lynda Cronin, Oli Moreton, Lynda Worral, and Karen Pettigrew from Maesdu Golf Club with a score of 89 points.
Overall, it was a great day of golfing and socializing. We would like to extend a big thank you to all who participated and helped make the event a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon at future golfing events.
