Congratulations to Two of Our Staff Members on Graduating from University!

News

We are thrilled to announce that two of our staff members have recently graduated from university.

Lauren Howorth

Lauren, known to many of our members from the Pro Shop, received her BSC in Mental Health Nursing from Bangor University on Monday 10th July. Lauren now works for the Ablett Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital, helping promote and support her patients recovery, ensuring they can live an independent and fulfilling life. In-between her busy schedule, she works part-time hours in the Pro Shop. Lauren always goes above and beyond to help answer any questions or concerns our members may have. One of her many strengths is her impressive golf game, playing to a handicap of 5. She is also the social media manager for Stuart’s social media accounts @stuartrunciegolf. Why not follow them on social media and send her a congratulations message?

Megan Harris

Megan is currently employed as our Marketing Manager, promoted to her title in April 2023 after carrying out a placement and a part-time contract with us. She graduated from Liverpool John Moores University on Tuesday 11th July with a B.A. (Hons) in Business and Public Relations. We are incredibly proud of her hard work and dedication to her studies, whilst also excelling in her role here at our club. Megan works hard behind the scenes, maintaining our brand image, maintaining relationships with corporate clients and journalists, generating feel-good stories, managing our social media channels, as well as producing our marketing plans and materials. She is also responsible for maintaining member internal communications, ensuring the weekly newsletter is published each week.

It is always a joy to see our staff members grow and achieve their goals, both inside and outside of work. Lauren and Megan are shining examples of the dedication and perseverance required to succeed in their field of study and their careers. We couldn’t be happier for them and look forward to the continued growth and success of both their personal and professional lives.

To Lauren and Megan, we offer our most sincere congratulations and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Thank you for being such valuable members of our team and for all that you bring to our club and our community.
