On Saturday 18th November, members and guests of Abergele Golf Club gathered for the Annual Dinner Dance. The event was hosted by Mr Captain Lindsay and his wife Sharon, who welcomed the Captain of Penmaenmawr Golf Club. In a heartwarming speech, the Penmaenmawr Captain highlighted the special relationship between the two clubs, as they both celebrated their centenary year together in 2010.
The evening was emceed by Dewi, who kept the atmosphere lively and engaging throughout the night. Mr Vice Lindsay welcomed all members and guests, setting the tone for the evening’s festivities. The Clubhouse Bistro provided a sumptuous meal, with the lady President saying grace before everyone enjoyed the delicious food.
The highlight of the night was the music of Kyle Parry, who enthralled the audience with his performances inspired by his North Wales roots. Our members couldn’t resist the urge to hit the dance floor or listen along to his tunes. All in all, it was a fantastic evening that will be remembered for a long time.
The Annual Dinner Dance is one of our most traditional evenings, and this year’s event did not disappoint. It was a night of great food, music, and camaraderie, and everyone left with a smile on their faces. We look forward to next year’s event and the memories it will bring.
