A Day to Remember: Seniors’ Chairman’s Away Day

Our Seniors had a fantastic Chairman’s Away Day at Vicars Cross on 16th September! They departed Abergele under a bright, sunny sky, only to arrive at Vicars Cross in mist! However, as the morning unfolded, the fog gradually lifted to reveal a bright and sunny day – perfect for a round of golf!

The day was made even more memorable by the sight of so many Abergele Seniors smiling, enjoying their time, and supporting Seniors Chairman John on this special occasion. From the very start to the end, the Seniors were well looked after and warmly welcomed, and for this, we would like to thank the entire team at Vicars Cross. Their hospitality made their visit truly enjoyable.

Seniors Chairman John would like to extend his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the Abergele Seniors who joined him. Special thanks are due to his ‘Team in Red,’ who have made him feel welcome at Abergele from the very beginning and supported him every step of the way. He is deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making this day a success.

John told us he had a fantastic time and hopes that all his fellow Senior Members did as well as they navigated the beautiful Cheshire parkland course (hopefully avoiding those tricky ditches!)

It was wonderful to be able to provide a warm welcome to Vicars Cross Seniors here at Abergele Golf Club. It was wonderful to receive positive feedback about our course, the friendliness of our members and the quality of our catering service. A big thank you to everyone that was involved to make the day a success.

John would like to thank everyone for their support. Here’s to many more enjoyable days of golf and camaraderie at Abergele Golf Club.
