Ahead of the coming week, we’d like to share this latest update from Wales Golf; The Welsh Government have introduced a tightening of the COVID-19 restrictions from Monday 14th of September: – A maximum of six people from the extended household bubble will be able to meet indoors at any one time. This rule applies in clubhouses including restaurants and bar facilities. Please note: Children under 11 will not be counted in the six people – It will be compulsory for people over the age of 11 to wear a face-covering in public indoor space such as professional shops &

The articles of Association of the Club allow Directors to co-opt additional Directors and accordingly the following members, who have volunteered their services, are to join the Board with immediate effect. Andy, Nikki and their staff have hit the ground running yet again and provided members and visitors alike with a great menu for Open Week. With all that is involved with Covid-19 and running a busy restaurant, they have now welcomed diners back through their doors. The feedback has been excellent, we would like to thank them all for their support in making Abergele Open Week a success. The course is withstanding the changing weather conditions and at times buggies are leaving tyre marks. We kindly ask if all buggy users could take care on the course and, where possible, to vacate the buggy to look for lost balls as there are many circling tyre marks left in the soft areas. We will try and allow buggy use as much as possible this winter but we do need all users to be sensible and considerate to the course. If buggies are damaging the course, they will be prevented from further use until conditions improve. A large sycamore limb
